Ladies, Embrace Your Inner Wealth
Friday 8 March is International Women’s Day, and Womenspace in Sandgate will be hosting a dinner to celebrate. The theme is ‘Invest in Women’, and two very interesting speakers, Suzanne Clementi and Stacey O’Brien, will share their valuable experience and knowledge at this special event.

Lisa McInerney, events co-ordinator for Womenspace said, “We are finding new ways to get more ladies to use Womenspace.  We are kind of re-inventing ourselves, which is quite exciting.”

The focus will be on women’s relationships with abundance, money and empowerment. It’s guaranteed to inspire.

Suzanne and Stacey will offer advice and guidance, encouraging women to unlock their full potential—not only to build their self esteem, but also their financial independence.

“We all get knocked around, it’s how you bounce back, and how you build on that,” Lisa said.

Stacey has bravely harnessed her own grief to write “A Kiss From an Angel”— the heart-rending account of her journey after her son was stillborn 17 years ago.

“I was just a mum whose baby died – how do you turn that into an industry?”  But she did, with spectacular results. It is worth hearing her narrative.

“I had to figure out that investing in me was worthwhile,” she said.

It has brought her to the very solid, rewarding and inspiring place she is today.

Suzanne’s story is no less remarkable.  She believes in “knowing thyself”, and with over eleven years experience in art therapy, counselling and psychotherapy, including a strong financial background, she has much wisdom to share.

“It is about abundance, and money is just one aspect of abundance,“ Suzanne said.

Suzanne stressed that this was an exercise to help women open up to the possibilities, rather than financial advice.

She will also run two workshops at Womenspace over the next few months.
