Kids find inner strength
It may be one of the busiest times of the year, but it’s also perfect timing for a unique yoga and aromatherapy workshop being held just for kids.

The Peace Begins with Me workshop will be held in Brighton on 18 December.

The workshop is organised by local kids’ yoga teacher and massage therapist, Ainsley Moden, and will give children aged five to twelve an opportunity to build inner strength and calm in the lead-up to the ‘silly’ season.

It’s an activity that incorporates fun and engaging kids yoga, as well as an aromatherapy bracelet-making workshop.

Ainsley says, “This workshop combines yoga poses and therapy exercises, breath work, mindfulness, positive affirmations and a ‘make and take’ bracelet.”

Ms Moden has been practising yoga for over fifteen years and is a firm believer in a positive mental attitude making a big difference in life. “I love to share my passion for health, to help kids improve their body awareness, manage emotions and build inner strength and calm,” she explains.

Kayla, from the Karhi Collection Workshop, will work with the participants to create their own aromatherapy bracelet using crystals and doTERRA essential oils.

“I love all things natural, and I love to share doTERRA essential oils which offer a natural alternative to support stress, anxiety and big emotions,” Ainsley adds.

“The bracelet making is a mindfulness and an empowering activity to help kids become more body-aware and to self-regulate their emotions.”

The Peace Begins with Me workshop will be held in the grounds of Nashville State School. Bookings are essential and should be made via www.beinggrounded.com.au/re.... You can also find more information about the event on Facebook.
