Sandgate Rolling In The Emerald Isles
Irish eyes will be smiling on Sunday, July 1, when the Queensland Irish Choir presents A Celtic Concert at Sandgate Town Hall.

Choir secretary Brenda Shirley says the afternoon will be full of heart-warming ditties and ballads direct from Emerald Isle.

“Our concerts have something to offer everyone,” she says. “As well as the beautiful Irish, Celtic and contemporary music that the choir sings we always have great guest artists. This concert is shaping up to be one of our best productions yet.”

A Celtic Concert will feature all the Irish classics audiences know and love, including Danny Boy and Galway Bay, and will have something for everyone.

“The concert will appeal to a wide cross-section of the Sandgate community,” Brenda says.

“This concert will also feature guest appearances by the fantastic Queensland Irish Pipers and the wonderful McCullough Highland Studio Scottish dancers.

“It is going to be a wonderful afternoon.”
