After the highly-successful launch of the Love Handmade Markets, in Sandgate in 2018, the specially curated market of locally-sourced goods returns to the Sandgate Town Hall, in November.
A celebration of all things local, handmade and creative, the Love Handmade Markets will feature an eclectic mix of 40 stalls, offering a diverse range of gifts and tasty treats.
Founder and market curator, Janmaree Lowe, said the market would provide visitors with an entertaining day out and a well-timed opportunity to source bespoke gifts before Christmas.
“We will return this year to celebrate handmade in Brisbane with local makers, food providers – think honey from the farm, jam, and decorated biscuits, along with live music and eats by Satori,” Janmaree said.
“Local creatives, like Sew Suzie, Luvia Designs, Indulgence at Shorncliffe and Blossom & Cotton Co, will be at this year’s event. Giving handmade gifts really are the best kind.”
Janmaree said the Love Handmade Markets brought local makers together, to collaborate and showcase their products.
The markets will feature everything from kokedamas, jewellery, children’s wear, and candles to herbal skincare, artisanal sweets, homewares, macrame, stationery, art, and handmade bags.
