There’s only one way to improve upon a good Christmas movie and that is to screen it in the great outdoors.
Metro North Hospital and Health Service at Brighton Health Campus will show the ‘Elf’ at its ‘Movie by the Sea’ event on Saturday 9 November.
Metro North Acting Chief Executive Jackie Hanson said the event was an opportunity for staff to bring their families and friends to a fun event.
“And we’d love to see some of our local community neighbours there as well,” Jackie said.
The event will start at 4pm with food trucks, barefoot bowls, live music and games before the movie starts at 6pm.
Movie by the Sea is open to the public and there is no entry fee. It is an alcohol-free event.
Also stay tuned next month for another outdoor Christmas movie. Cr Jared Cassidy and Brisbane City Council have organised a series of outdoor movies over summer. The Grinch will be shown at Einbunpin Lagoon Park on Wednesday 18 December.
Other sessions are booked for 18 January and 14 February both at Decker Park.
