Bluewater Art Exhibition 2012

With support from the Sandgate and District Chamber of Commerce, the Sandgate Art Society and Shorncliffe Pottery Club the 2012 Bluewater Art Exhibition is set for another record. Showcasing works from outstanding local award winning artists. Already the competition looks fierce as artists start to prepare & submit their works for
the exhibition.

This year’s event will be held at the new venue of the Waterford Building overlooking the pier at St Patricks College, 60 Park Parade, Shorncliffe. The Opening Night will be on Thursday 5th April 2011 from 6pm till 9pm. The official opening and winners will be announced later that evening. The exhibition will continue on the 6th, 7th
and 8th of April from 9am – 3pm.

The 2012 competition will not have a theme. A 1st Place and a Highly Commendable will be awarded in each category. We welcome all works of exhibition quality. Two dimensional works must be fitted with hanging cord and Three Dimensional works must be ready to sit on plinth or simply hung.
