About the Festival
Yes it's here again! The Sandgate Bluewater festival runs during Easter week with main events Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.
The highlight of the festival is Good Friday's start to the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race at 11:00am, from Moreton Bay, just off shore of the Shorncliffe Pier. However around this feature event are a myriad of must-do activities making up the Sandgate Bluewater Festival.
In the lead-up to the highlights on Thursday and Friday, patrons can enjoy a variety of entertainment including kite flying, wildlife shows, lawn bowls and outdoor cinema.
The Bluewater Festival is now in its 15th year and it just keeps on getting bigger and better.
