This year the festival will be bigger, louder, more colourful, and more vibrant. This year’s Bluewater Festival is expected to be the largest and best yet thanks to the covers being removed from Shorncliffe’s brand-new pier and more food and entertainment than ever.
The festival, which takes place on March 24 and 25, is jam-packed with food stalls and activities.
Bill Gollan, president of the Sandgate & District Chamber of Commerce, is eager to introduce several fresh additions to the event this year.

This year’s festival “promises to be bigger, brighter, louder, and more colourful” because we have hired a professional event management business, he says.
“We literally drew a line in the sand and have a whole raft of new features that will be announced over the coming weeks,” the organisers said of the event.
Over the course of the two days, fresh entertainment will be presented by Tuffy, Nik Philips, Outtawak, and The Soul Men Blues Brothers Tribute Show, among others.
